THE GUITARS OF JOHNNY RAMONE
THE WHITE MOSRITE (1977-1996)
The famous white Mosrite was bought to replace the stolen blue one. Immediately this guitar had a stop tailpiece put on, and the tuning machines changed from the stock Kluson to a heavier Grover model. At this time, the original pickups were still in use, but later a Dimarzio was put in the bridge position.

In around 1983 The neck pickup was replaced with a Seymour Duncan mini-humbucker. I don't know for what reason, as this pickup is not used live. (The guitar was eventually wired so the bridge pickup was permanantly on and the neck pickup disconnected.)
