THE GUITARS OF JOHNNY RAMONE
THE BROWN (GOLD) MOSRITE
This guitar was a Ventures II similar to the blue and white guitars. It was obtained in late 1983/early 1984 and was the main backup guitar until late 1989. It was later painted GOLD-Sparkle and used as a second guitar on the Acid Eaters tour and sporadically thereafter.

Above:
Brown Ventures II. The bridge pickup is a Dimarzio and the original tuners are replaced with Grovers as on the white one.

Under blue concert lights (and only used with dim lights) the brown guitar appeared black. (Also see Pet Sematary Video) The only exception would be if a string broke on the white guitar during part of the set which had bright lighting.
