Dee Dee played basses similar to these 1975-1977 Starting in late 1975, Dee Dee played Fender Precision basses. In an article in Guitar player magazine he was quoted as going through three a year. This was probably a bit of a stretch, but he did have many precisions during his career. His first Precision was an olympic white '60s bass with a rosewood neck and tortoise-shell pickguard. Be prepared to shell out big bucks if you want to get one of these in original condition! NEXT
