March 27, 1998 Santa Cruz, CA The latest incarnation of the Damned includes original members Dave and Captain Sensible, joined by Patricia Morrison (ex- Sisters of Mercy, Gun Club) on bass. This means there are lots of death-rockers and guys with black lipstick at the shows this tour. (Gross) As you would expect, they played a few tracks from Phantasmagoria. They also have a new drummer and keyboard player who pulled off the leads for "I Just Can't Be Happy Today", and was essential for surprises such as "Dozen Girls". |
